One Year....
Eddie and I were official married for one year on Saturday June 14th. WOW, time flies when you are having fun. This past years has been full of adventure, trials and error, fun, discovering, memories, romance and a whole lot of love. I have never felt so much love from one person than I do from Eddie. I have never loved one person more than I do Eddie. If I could some up this past year I would have to say.... It has been a life worth living and I got to do it all with my best friend.
To celebrate our anniversary Eddie and I started the day out by sleeping until about 9 am. When we finally got up, I made us very large smothered breakfast burritos. After we finished breakfast Eddie fixed our A/C unit (I know it was so romantic) while I got myself ready and looking sexy. When we were both finished with those things, we hopped on the motorcycle.
Eddie took us for a ride to where we had our second date and where he proposed to me. We ate peaches and looked out at the beautiful view.
That night Eddie and I checked into the elegant Grand America Hotel.
I fell in love with the bathroom, big jetted bath tub with bubble bath, who wouldn't.
We had a romantic dinner at The Melting Pot, where they serve fondue style meals. It was really good food and great conversation.
After we finished dinner, we walked back to the Hotel to watch our wedding video. The TV in our room was not good enough for us (at least that is what Eddie thought) so he went and got a flat Screen from his office. I tell you what, even on our anniversary I can't get that boy away from A/V stuff. God knows I love that man.
The best part of watching the wedding video was when I felt silly for crying, I would look over at Eddie and he had tears in his eyes also.
It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary. I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Here are photos that Eddie and I took of ourselves. I know, I know, we are really hot!!
I look forward to spending the rest of my life with Eddie. I thank you God everyday for placing this man in my life and all the other blessing in my life. I will try everyday to have the convenent marriage you intended for us.
P.S. Thank you to My mom and dad for the beautiful card and gift. Thank you to Uncle tom and Aunt Renea for the wonderful card and thank you Aunt P.J., Uncle Kelly and Family for the really cool E-card
