A Wonderful Weekend

I just had one of the most wonderful weekends. It was the kind of weekend that seems to make going to work on Monday (which I hate) worth it. The fact that Eddie had the weekend off with me was probably one of the main reasons it was so wonderful. Eddie doesn't always get to have weekends off, so when he does it is a special treat.

Eddie and I started our weekend out with dinner at a restaurant called MacCools on Friday night date. The food was good and we had really good conversations.

Saturday morning I made us omelets for breakfast, they were pretty good if I do say so my self. Then at noon my niece London came over to spend the day with Eddie and I. I had so much fun watching her. We played, we napped, we laughed, we sang songs, we ate and we went to home depot. London was perfect the whole day. When her parents came to pick her up at 6, I was really sad to see her go and missed her. On top of that it made me miss my two other beautiful nieces Abby and Ally, who live out of state.
That evening Eddie and I hoped on the motorcycle and headed out to our friends Bryce and Samantha's house for a very delicious BBQ, games and fun conversation. Thanks again for the Wonderful night and sweet gift Bryce and Sam!!!!!!

Sunday was a total veg out day. Eddie made us sausage bisects and gravy (which he is the best at), we watched movies and went to my parent's house for steak dinner that awesome.

All I can say as by the time I put my head down to sleep on Sunday evening I was in a great mood and feeling totally refreshed, which I am still feeling today.
I leave you with some of the picture I took of London while we were baby sitting her.

My Mother's 48th Birthday

Last Wednesday my wonderful and amazing mother turned 48 years young. To celebrate this wonderful occasion we went to Applebee's for dinner where we all tried our hardest to embarrass Mom with singing and trying to catch food in our mouths. After dinner we went back to my parent's house were mom for cake and presents. My father bought my mom two birthday cakes; one chocolate and one Vanilla. After putting 48 candles on the two cakes we proceeded to sing "Happy Birthday " to my mother (my sister was holding one cake, my dad was holding the other). Well my sister got a little to excited or something and some how the cake ended up on the floor.

Some how once the cake was picked up off of the floor it ended up in my moms face (with a little help from Destiny) Then in Destiny's face (with a little help from me), then in my face (with a little help from mom and Desi). I was laughing so hard I almost wet my pants. Amazingly enough all of the guys stayed clean in this situation. After the cake fight had come to an end, mom opened presents and we enjoyed the rest of the night!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday MOM!!!!!
