The last two months were full of planning two very different birthday parties for two very important people in my life.
The first birthday celebration was for my amazing mother who turned 50! To start the day off Desi, Mike, Dad and I took mom out to do some gambling in Wendover. Lady luck was on mom’s side right from the start; she won 85 dollars within the first half hour and her luck continued the rest of the day. After a half day of gambling we drove home and rested up for the celebration to come. That evening our family and friends met up at Applebee’s (mom’s favorite restaurant) for dinner and then back to my house for cake and ice cream. Destiny and I decorated the house in an “Over the Hill” theme complete with black balloons, a homemade grave yard ice-cream cake and tombstone cake pops. Everything turned out great and mom was so happy she cried.
The second birthday celebration was for my wonderful husband Eddie who turned 28! I thought it would be fun to throw Eddie a surprise party with a Luau theme. And with the help from my family, Eddie’s family and our friends it went off without any problems. While I was keeping Eddie busy doing random things around town, my family (with Destiny leading it all) and my friend Sam were setting up my house for the party. This included decorating several rooms, cooking about 40 pounds of meat and making a really fun Tiki Bar! I can’t tell them enough how great of a job they did and how much I appreciated everything all their hard work. When I brought Eddie home blindfolded he had no clue what was going on and was definitely surprised. We had such a great time with wonderful company and really good food.
Welcome class! Today we'll be studying a newly-wed couple. Brittany and Eddie Greenwood. Get your pencil, take notes, there's a test at the end, there is a lot to learn about this new exciting dynamic duo.

Our Mexico Trip 2010
In an effort to keep our out of town family up-to-date on the happenings of our lives and to keep my friend Sam happy, I am going to start post on my blog again. I thought I would start out by posting some pictures I took during our trip to Mexico last August. I took the pictures from Mexico and made them into a scrapbook that I had printed for my mother. Using the software made the scrapbook with, I was able to put it into slide show format (you will see a note at the end for my mom, because the original was made for her). The trip to Mexico was amazing to say the least!!!! It was a family trip with made it that much more of an adventure. The trip included but not was not limited to; snorkeling, zip lining, cliff jumping , shopping, ATV driving, cave swimming, kayaking , midnight swimming, dancing and so much more. Needless to say it was a very fun time. In total we spent a week there that we will never forget!!!! If you would like more details on the day to day happenings my hubby Eddie wrote a few really great post about each day just click here. There are 5 posts and they are titled Journal in Reverse. Other than that enjoy!!!
